With other 30 years of experience in the youth sector, Athena sports partners with some of the world’s most reputable sports brands to offer best in class programming. As an official Arsenal partner since 2014 we strive to create the best possible sporting environments for our professional coaches to deliver technical training of the highest quality. Athena selects locations and venues that meet the exacting standards of our partners to ensure the camps can operate in the best possible conditions. Athena endeavors to ensure all aspects of the player’s welfare is taken care of throughout the camp both on and off the pitch and that all state health and licensing requirements are fulfilled so that our players can have a safe and enjoyable camp.
Arsenal Football Development
Through our day camps We enable young player to get a taste of what it’s like to train at the Arsenal academy. Our camp model is built around our Strong Young Gunner model, with 4 distinct development areas: effective team players, efficient movers, lifelong learners and champion mentality. This is the same model utilised by our academy, led by Per Mertesacker. Our coaching team is trained to tailor the model to each audience we engage with. Our Strong Young Gunner model is used throughout the club to develop young people and players. We believe it leads to holistic development and ensures young people develop life skills as well as football skills.
